The Greenville High Tigers and the Charles Henderson Trojans squared off against each other this past Friday in a 5a region matchup.

The first score of the game came by the hard running of Greenville Tiger Ty Phillips on an 11-yard scamper with 9:42 on the clock.

Phillips would call his own number on a fake point after attempt (PAT) to make a two point conversion.

Troy would return the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown but had the PAT blocked.

Greenville would take the kickoff and march down the field and score on a 36 yard pass from Cedric Morris to Krishun Combs with 4:32 on the clock. The PAT was no good.

Troy would answer with six points as the clock hit 0:14 and at halftime Greenville led 14-12.

After the half, Troy would add a touchdown to make the score 18-14.

The 2-1 Tigers next travel to face the Andalusia Bulldogs.
