BASEBALL

Greenville’s 12U Diamond Youth team is World Series Bound after placing runner’s up in the State Tournament on Monday, June 22. They were 5-2 and will begin play in Laurel, Miss., at the end of July.

Stat leaders were Easton and Weston Booker, Austin Heartsill, Conley Henderson, Colton Little, Ryan Scott (four homeruns), Jordan Thornton, and Braxton Willis. Six members of the 12U All-Star Team are from McKenzie.

Greenville’s 10U team made a short run in the tourney but were eventually put out after going 1-2.

Stat leaders were Henry Ellis, Maisen Knox Reaves, and Winston Wiggins.

Greenville’s 8U team also made a short run but were eventually ousted after going 1-2.

Stat leaders were Nathan Heartsill, Amos Pierce, Henry Smith, and Elijah Salter.

SOFTBALL

Greenville’s 19U Dixie Softball Team did not have a district tournament and will play in the State Tournament this weekend.

Greenville’s 15U Dixie Softball Team are headed to the State Tournament in Montgomery this upcoming weekend after winning the District Tournament. They went 3-0 in Eufaula this past weekend.

Stat leaders were Kaidence Davis, Aubrey Davis, McKenzie Fulton, Anna Clark Hickman, Addyson Mount, and Breanna Sorells.

Greenville’s 12U Dixie Softball Team are also headed to the State Tournament as runner-up in the District Tournament  after going 2-1.

Stat leaders were Lizzie Beverly, Anleigh Davis, Mary Campbell MCormick, Shondrea Lawson, Quin Sexton, and Charlie Whitaker.

Greenville’s 10U Dixie Softball Team went 0-2, which ended their season.

Greenville’s 8U Dixie Softball Team went 3-0 and were named District Champions. They will play in the State Tournament this weekend.

Stat leaders were Tinley Gaspard, Niylah Jackson, and Charlotte and Margaret Taylor.
