MARTHA GAIL SEALE

Martha Gail Seale, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away on April 28, 2025, at the age of 73 from an injury related to a fall.

Gail was born October 28, 1951, to her parents Alvin (Pete) and Juanita (Sally) Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James R. Seale; two daughters, Martha (Russ) Whiddon and Kristy Houston; three sisters, Juanita (Walter) Boyd, Judy Smith, and Kaye (Larry) Lambert; seven grandchildren, Gracie Whiddon, Ian Seale, Rachel Whiddon, Clay and Cole Whiddon, Lauren and Landon Houston; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She had a great love for flowers working in the Winn Dixie floral department and she loved outdoors, especially the beach. She took great pleasure and joy in creating lasting memories with her children and grandchildren at the beach each year and she enjoyed cooking for the entire family during the holidays.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 1 beginning at 11 a.m. from the United Methodist Church of Greenville with Pastor Robert Yawn officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Forest Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. until service time.
