JOAN HALL

Joan Hall, 88, a resident of Fort Deposit, died peacefully Oct. 21, 2025.

Joan was a graduate of Lowndes County High School and was a graduate of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College with an associate’s degree.

Joan was preceded in death by her father, Travis Cates; sister, Nancy Cates Lockhart; son, Kenneth Hall; and previous husband, Alton Hall.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Hall of Greenville, Tom Hall (Angie) of Snowdoun, Carol Hall of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Allen Hall of Greenville, Joanna Hall of Prattville, Samantha Cates Troy of Legrand, and Tiffany Hall Ashmore of Wetumpka; and six great grandchildren.

The family will plan a memorial at a later date in the Little Sandy Ridge Cemetery of Fort Deposit.
