Greenville’s annual Christmas Parade on Tuesday, Dec. 9

The holiday season is almost here, and so is one of the community’s most beloved traditions — the annual Christmas Parade, happening Tuesday, Dec. 9.

This year’s festive theme, “The Camellia City’s Sweetest Season,” promises a night full of charm, creativity, and Christmas cheer.

Festivities will begin in Confederate Park at 5 p.m., featuring Christmas in the Park, food trucks, family activities, and holiday fun for all ages.

The City’s official Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 6 p.m., followed by the Christmas Parade stepping off at 6:30 p.m.

“This is truly one of Greenville’s most magical nights,” said Tracy Salter, Executive Director of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce. “Our community comes together in such a special way for the parade each year, and we’re excited to see everyone showcase their creativity with this year’s sweet theme. We invite families, businesses, and organizations to join us for a night that captures the spirit of the season in the Camellia City.”

Parade applications are now available for download at greenvillealchamber.com, and the application deadline is noon on Friday, Nov. 20.

Participants may also stop by the Chamber at One Depot Square or call the office at 334-382-3251 for assistance or to browse float and vehicle theme ideas.

More details will be released soon. Mark your calendars — you won’t want to miss Greenville’s sweetest celebration of the season!
