AHSAA SUPER 7

The Alabama High School Athletic Association Super 7 football championships are over. The final teams from each of Alabama’s seven classifications 1A through 7A have been crowned as the new state champions.

The 7A big boys featured the 11 – 3 Thompson Warriors of Alabaster who are no stranger to the championship facing the 10 – 4 Opelika Bulldogs. Experience counts and the Warriors handed the Bulldogs a 48 – 10 loss to claim their thrown.

The 6A title goes to 15 – 0 Clay-Chalkville Cougars as they win a third title while setting an AHSAA Super 7 sack record, sacking the 13 – 1 Saraland Spartans quarterback eight times in their victory 38 – 21 to grab the crown. Saraland has been to the Super 7 four times.

The 2025 5A crown is held for the first time by the blue and white 13 – 2 Moody Blue Devils, who shutout the green and white 12 – 3 Vigor Wolves of Pritchard 25 – 0.

In the 4A championship the 13 – 2 purple and gold Jackson Aggies win their second straight championship slaughtering the maroon and white 14 – 1 Anniston Bulldogs 52 – 0

The 3A title went to Mars Hill Bible Panthers as they remain undefeated 15 – 0 defeating the 13 – 2 Bayside Academy Admirals 38 – 21 for their crown.

The 2A title belongs to 13 – 2 Coosa Christian Conquerors of Gadsden who pulled out a victory in the last seconds to defeat 12 – 3 Lanett Panthers 29 – 22 to earn their crown.

The 1A Championship had the undefeated 15 – 0 Maplesville Red Devils pitted against the 13 – 1 Wadley Bulldogs but the Red Devils remained unbeaten carrying home the crown 42 – 22.
