JUDY THOMAS SMITH

Oct. 20, 1954 – June 5, 2026

Judy Thomas Smith, a resident of Honoraville, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the age of 71. She had been a resident of Butler County most of her life and had also lived in Tennessee. Judy had worked as a teacher. She taught for 26 years in Butler County, five years in Crenshaw County and three years in Tennessee.

In her leisure time, Judy enjoyed quilting, camping and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Vinie Thomas.

Judy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles H. Smith and sons, Jeremy Smith (Cyndee), Jeffrey Smith, and Jason Smith (Stephanie).

Judy was the proud grandmother of Abigail Smith, Tristin Smith, Addison Smith, Ella Kate Smith, Dylan Fountain and Tanner Wesche.

Graveside Services were held Monday, June 8, beginning at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with Sandy Smith officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. The family received friends for visitation beginning at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home.
