BCSN Awards Banquet winners

The Butler County Sports Network (BCSN) Awards Banquet was held at Dunbar Community Center on Sunday, May 5.
Daniel Ingram was the emcee and opened the event which featured the naming of all-county teams for football, basketball, baseball, and softball plus player of the year awards for volleyball, basketball, tennis, golf, track and field, soccer, baseball, softball and football, moment of the year, coach of the year, team of the year, male and female athletes of the year, and the Jerome Harris Award.
The athletes were selected from Fort Dale Academy (FDA), Georgiana School (GS), Greenville High School (GHS) and McKenzie School (MS).
For individual player of the year BCSN selected the following athletes: girls’ volleyball, Anna Claire Thomas (FDA); girls’ basketball, Lillie Boggan, (GS); tennis, Joseph Ealum (FDA); boys’ basketball, Nasir Cheatham (GS); boy’s golf, Jackson Scott (FDA); girls’ female golf, Marli Campbell (FDA); girls’ track and field, Ja’Kira Burnett (GS); boys’ track and field, Jalen Crenshaw (GS); girls’ soccer, Morgan Stanley (FDA); boys’ soccer, Alan Alvarez (FDA); softball, Anna Claire Thomas (FDA); baseball, Bobby Cook (GHS); football player, Cam Miller (GS); coach of the year, Kirk Norris (GS); team of the year, Georgiana basketball; female athlete, Anna Claire Thomas (FDA); and male athlete, Jayden McMillian (MS).
The moment of the year was given to Georgiana basketball and the Jerome Harris Award was given to Jayden McMillian (MS).
