Fire claims house

Wednesday morning, Aug. 28, a fire broke out in a residence at 97 Butler Estates. Before Butler County volunteer fire departments and the Greenville Fire Department could respond adequately, the home was fully engulfed in flames and is now considered a total loss. No one was injured in the fire and surrounding homes suffered no damage. (Bruce Branum | The Standard)
