Roberts gives to community
On Saturday, July 19, Claranna Roberts (pictured right), owner of Coffee Cup Quilting, generously donated a handmade quilt to SouthernCare Hospice Services. The quilt was presented to Joann Mathews (pictured left) and will be gifted to a local hospice patient in need of comfort and care. Claranna, known for her passion for quilting and community outreach, crafted the quilt with warmth and intention bringing a sense of peace to those navigating difficult times. She calls them fabric hugs. Joann was grateful for this act of kindness. “It’s more than a quilt, it’s a tangible reminder that the patients are cared for and remembered,” said Joann. Coffee Cup Quilting is located at 213 South Conecuh Street in Greenville. Claranna offers classes monthly. (Photo submitted)
