CAROLYN ANN TAYLOR

Jan. 14, 1944 – Sept. 14, 2025

Mrs. Carolyn Ann Taylor, a resident of Greenville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at the age of 81.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 20, beginning at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Bro. Blair McBride officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. Burial followed in Antioch West Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends for visitation, starting at 10 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, W. T. Welch and Ann Marie Turner Welch; husband, Thomas Phillip “Papaw” Taylor; son, Andy Taylor; and infant daughter, Shelia Renee Taylor.

Mrs. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Eugene Ray, Jr.) Chambliss; son Wesley (Vesta) Taylor; grandchildren, Andrea (Ricky) Stecroix, Eugene Ray (Tray) Chambliss, III (Mayle), Sarah Elizabeth Chambliss, John Philip Chambliss, Rickey Taylor (Lauren), and Clinton Taylor (Kaden); and 11 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Eugene Ray (Tray) Chambliss, III, John Chambliss, Rickey Taylor, Clinton Taylor, Benton Taylor, Ricky Stecroix; Honorary Pallbearers: Tyler Campbell, Sean Campbell.
