JOHNNY MACK STACKHOUSE

 

Funeral services for the late Mr. Johnny Mack Stackhouse were held on Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. from Sweet Home AME Zion Church with Rev. Kenta White, officiating. Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville directed.

Johnny Mack Stackhouse was born Jan. 30, 1961 in Greenville to the late Mr. James Edward & Mrs. Clara Bell Stackhouse, Sr. He was their ninth child. He was well known by his middle name “Mack”. On Feb. 18 the Lord called Johnny Mack home.

He is preceded in death by his father James Edward Stackhouse, Sr.; mother, Clara Bell Stackhouse; two brothers, Jimmy Rodger and Calvin Lee Stackhouse; three sisters, Annie Jewel Reaves, Katie Ruth Lockett and Linda Ruth Hartley and one brother-in-law, Deacon Clifton Reaves.

Mack leaves to cherish his memory one sister Dianne Stackhouse of Bridgeport, Conn.; five brothers, James Stackhouse, Jr. (Rose); Terry Stackhouse, Sr. (Bernadette) of Stratford, Conn.; Benjamin Stackhouse, Sr. (Retha) Bridgeport, Conn.; Melvin Stackhouse (Elaine) of Virginia Beach, Va. and Timmy Stackhouse (Deborah) of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and a close dear friend Edward Ezekiel of Bridgeport, Conn. and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
