JOHN FRED HARRISON

 

Mr. John Fred Harrison, 84, died March 12. Funeral services were held March 15 at 10 a.m. at Antioch East Baptist Church. Reverend Ronnie Boulware officiated and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directed. Burial followed in the Antioch East Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends from 9-10 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his wife, Era Mae Harrison and brother, Winford Paul Harrison.

He is survived by his daughter, Fredda Marie Ingram (Wallace); son, John Morgan Harrison, Sr. (Laura); grandsons, John Morgan, Matthew, Luke, and Caleb; sister, Sammie Eugena Hill; brothers, Billy Mack Harrison (Judy) and Cecil Wayne Harrison (Pratha) and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Harrison was a longtime member and deacon at Antioch East Baptist Church and a member of the Eureka Lodge #64 in Greenville. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a model railroad train collector, beekeeper and woodworker.
