KATHERINE PARMER VEAZEY

Mrs. Katherine Parmer Veazey, 86, a resident of Greenville, died on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Wren Veazey officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home officiating.  Burial followed in Sunrise Memorial Park. The family received friends one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Veazey was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Pinkard Veazey; parents, John Carl and Loraine Harrison Parmer; and brother, Robert Parmer.

She is survived by her son, Jessie Wren Veazey (Stacey) of Greenville; daughter, Kathy Veazey Bender (Gene) of Greenville; sister-in-law, Pat Parmer; four grandchildren, Thomas Jess Bender (Sarai) of Florence, Mathew Charles Bender of Letohatchee, Whitney Lynn Veazey and Jessica Lane Veazey of Greenville; brother, Calvin Parmer (Linda) of Russellville; sisters, Jewel Parmer Tilley (Joe) of Greenville, Jane Parmer Hix (Chester) of Montgomery and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Veazey requested donations be made to the Gideons International at www.gideons.org.
