MILDRED TILL

Graveside service for Mrs. Mildred Till, 94, of Georgiana will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday Aug, 20, 2021 at Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Gale Woodard officiating. Mrs. Till passed away on Saturday, Aug. 14, in Greenville.

She is survived by her children, Andy Till (Vickie), William Till (Chris), Jenny Green, and Charles Till (Laura); grandchildren, Cammie Burleson (Jimmy), Dawn Gaston (Stacey), Darlene Odom (Heath), Tonya Sexton (Al), Mari Beverly (Josh), Tracy Green, Sunshine English (Boyd), Chip Green, Angel Erickson (Daniel), Chuck Till, Jake Till, and Melonie Tomcheck (Ryan); 25 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward Till; her parents, Willie and Mae Williams; six brothers and two sisters; and son-in-law, Larry Green.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

She was a longtime member of Friendship Methodist Church. She worked at the local bank in Georgiana for most of her life. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed being outside and working in the yard. She loved sitting on the porch watching the birds. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a friend and “Granny Mildred” to many and will be missed.
