Edward “Eddie” Timothy Holder, age 71, of Georgiana, passed away on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Eddie was held Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Mill St, Georgiana. A Celebration of Life Service was held Thursday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. Mill St, Georgiana, with Bro. Allen Stephenson and Bro. Travis DeFoor officiating. Burial was Thursday, Oct. 27, at Morrow Cemetery, State Highway 106 West, Georgiana,with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, directing arrangements.

Eddie “Paw Paw” Holder is survived by his wife of 52 years, Edna “Mae Mae” Holder; daughters; Kim Boucher (Kevin) and Krissy Moore (Chris); grandchildren, Taylor Merry, Alex Moore, Matt Boucher, Brett Moore, Thomas Boucher, Daphne Moore Cobb, and Dana Moore; great grandchildren, Kayce Holder Knight, Marshall Salter, Rowan Householder, and Jaxton Meadows; siblings, Rebecca Beringer, Rhea Holder, Gloria Smith, and Keith Holder; brothers-in-law,Hilburn Black and Karry Hanks; sister-in-law,  Lucille Smith; and countless nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Whitman Holder; his father, Robert Eugene Holder; brothers, Philip Holder, Robert Earl Holder, and Randall Holder.

Pallbearers were Mike Shaw, Gerry Ward, Rusty McInvale, Larry Stinson, Bryon Ward, Bobby Phelps, Mike Revette, Joe Rigsby, Jim Reeves, Bob George, and Johnny McLaughlin.

Deacons and honorary pallbearers were Mike Bass, Robert Ray, Terry Hester, James Hatch, Jan Black, Buster Scruggs, Tracey Nichols, Conley Lowe, Scott Jernigan, and Hunter Knight.
