Busy Ant celebrates grand opening

As of Monday, June 1, at 10 a.m. Georgiana officially has its own grocery store again, the Busy Ant. A grand opening ceremony was held at that time with Georgiana Mayor Nina Bonner and store owner Parth Patel giving remarks. Georgiana’s grocery store, the Food Giant, had closed earlier this year and after much hard work the city was able to find someone in Parth Patel to re-open the grocery.
