HAROLD WINSTON PARMER

May 3, 1955 – May 9, 2026

Mr. Harold Winston Parmer, age 71, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at his residence in Wildfork, Alabama.

Harold was a hardworking man who loved his family and the Lord. His favorite title would have to be Papa and Pawpaw! He loved to ride the roads of the Wildfork community, and they won’t be the same without him.

Harold Winston Parmer was preceded in death by his wife Mollie Parmer; his parents, Winston and Mattie Lois Parmer; brother, Richard Parmer; grandchild Cassidy Wright.

He is survived by his children Steven Parmer (Regina), Crystal Huggins (Michael), and Jessica Leasher (Terry); grandchildren Reagan McLain (Sydney), John Hayden Parmer (Nicole), Landon McLain, Logan Wright, Bella Leasher, Brooklyn Huggins, Gage Huggins (Hannah), and Gracie Betterton (Abbott); sisters, Edith Brand (Jerry) and Liz Kauffman (John); and brother Robert Parmer (Sandy).

Graveside Service was held Tuesday, May 12, at 12 p.m. Hopewell Baptist Church, Greenville. The family received friends beginning at 11 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church until service. Larry Gaston officiated with Johnson Funeral Home directing.

God gained a beautiful angel.
