National Prayer Day remembered

National Prayer Day was remembered in Greenville on Wednesday, May 1. A sizable gathering of citizens, public officials, and clergy from the Butler County Ministerial Association (BCMA) were on hand to join in prayer for the City of Greenville and Butler County. Greenville Mayor Dexter McLendon gave opening remarks and stated, “It is so important for us to remember what prayer does for our community.
