The 2025 college football season is down to one game, Indiana Hoosiers vs Miami Hurricanes in Miami.

The Hurricanes have been here before. On Jan. 24, 1984, the Nebraska Cornhuskers played Miami. Nebraska was ranked NO. 1 and undefeated. The Cornhuskers was a dominating team that season.

Nebraska was not as dominant as Indiana this season with a couple of games being dominating.

In Indiana’s two playoff games this year, they beat Alabama 38-3 and Oregon 56-22, an average of 47-12.

Miami has a very good running attack and played three teams in the playoffs.

They beat Texas A&M 10-3, then beat Ohio State 24-14, and finally Ole Miss 31-27.

Against Ole Miss, Miami controlled the ball for almost 42 minutes. If Miami does that against Indiana, the Hurricanes will most likely win. If Indiana does that, it will be ugly.

Using the Coach Gene Stallings method, I will pick who I think will win Monday night.

The team runs in Indiana NO. 12 nationally, averaging 218.33 per game, while Miami is NO. 72 nationally, averaging 154.60 per game.

Stopping the run, Indiana is NO. 2, averaging 75 yards a game, while Miami is NO. 12, averaging 89.36 per game.

The turnover margin favors Indiana who is NO.1 at +1.40 per game, while Miamai is +0.73 per game.

I predict an Indiana win over Miami 24-14.
