Achiever Scholarship winners announced

Thursday evening, May 2, Fort Dale Academy senior Alli Butts and McKenzie School senior Jayden McMillian were named 2024 Achiever Award recipients during the 27th annual event held this year at the Wendell Mitchell Conference Center on the LBWCC Greenville campus. They will each receive a $3,500 scholarship towards their college expenses. The Achiever Award Scholarship is sponsored by the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce (GACOC). Tracy Salter, executive director GACOC, said, “Twenty amazing Butler County student-athletes were nominated for this year’s award. More than 175 guests attended the banquet as each nominee was recognized… Thank you to all of this year’s sponsors.
