If I said to you, “fireworks, music, multiple vendors, barbeque, hamburgers, hotdogs and a racecar,” one would think a racetrack celebration, right?
You would be wrong. It’s the Georgiana Opry House Fourth of July Celebration being held right downtown in beautiful Georgiana.
Opry House owner, Tracy Eason, cordially invites one and all to come and join in the celebration.
The party gets kicked off at 4 p.m. and the music starts at 5 p.m. with this year’s Hank Williams, Sr., Talent Show Case winner Brandt McCollough, who is on his way to Nashville to record with Pat Holt Productions.
Holt is married to Erlene Mandrell, the youngest of the Mandrell sisters. The music line up continues with Nashville recording artist and Greenville native Riley Austin and Evergreen’s Buried By the Crossroads.
Betty’s Bar-B-Que, all the way from Birmingham, and Tanya’s hamburgers and hotdogs are the food line up for the festivities with multiple vendors with everything from homemade jewelry to soaps.
The Georgiana Opry House will be revealing their Opry House Race Team and Car. According to Eason, the Georgiana Opry House sponsored race car and team will compete on the largest dirt track events around the southeast.
Finally, the fireworks kickoff at 8 p.m. sharp. The Butler County Alabama Veterans Association (BCAVA) vets will be on-hand for the party as well.
Eason said, “Join us at the Georgiana Opry House in downtown Georgiana as we celebrate our nation’s independence in grand fashion. See ya there!”
