Camden Gears Up for a Magical Christmas Dec. 5
Get ready for an unforgettable holiday experience in downtown Camden as the Annual Christmas in Camden and Tree Lighting event approaches!
The much-anticipated celebration will take place on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5:30-8 p.m. on Broad Street, stretching down Claiborne Street to Black Belt Treasures.
From Santa greeting children to the magical Tree Lighting at 6 p.m. beside the courthouse, this event has something for everyone.
Hosted by the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce, this event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in the heart of Camden. With a lineup full of festive activities, live music, vendors from all around, businesses open downtown, and good food it promises to be a memorable night for families and visitors of all ages.
As you stroll along Broad Street and onto Claiborne Street, enjoy a host of Christmas activities and attractions, including: Santa’s “North Pole” featuring Santa and the Grinch!; Vendors from all around Wilcox County and beyond; A Christmas movie on the lawn so you might want to bring a blanket or lawn chair, Performances by TaDarius Dukes, DJ RayRay, Violinist Rebekah Hicks, and the Camden Methodist and Camden Baptist kid’s choirs; The Volunteer Fire Department Raffle winner, buy your tickets at local businesses now!; The announcement of the Storefront Decorating Contest winners, And so much more!
